Concept and Direction

We build a plan around your home’s style and how you live in it. This sets the base for every choice that comes next.

Sourcing

We pick out furniture, lighting, fabric, wallpaper, and finishes from our trusted vendors, and keep any of your existing pieces that still fit.

Procurement

Once you say yes to a choice, we handle the ordering, tracking, and delivery.

Installation

Everything gets delivered and set up in your home. Then we add the final touches.

Manager absolutely no customer service, professionalism, management  and leadership skills what so ever. She said there isn’t anything she can’t do after spend  $6400 $370 for small pillow. Inside stuffing  Kees balling up and doesn’t stay flat. You can probably get better pillow in Marshall’s . Joan who helped  order furniture was professional and good.

I went in to look for wallpaper a few weeks ago. I fell into the hands of Despie and GiGi. They narrowed down choices for me and pointed me in the right direction. They have helped  me with light fixtures and paint colors as well. They sell Visual Comfort and have lovely light fixtures to look at in the store. . to select some wallpaper for my powder room. I received a warm welcome from Despina and she showed me the books and samples of wallpaper. She was very helpful with questions I asked and encouraged me to check out several samples. I was also greeted by Gigi and she explained that they now carry the lighting from Circa which saved me a trip downtown! They were both very helpful and honest when giving opinions about sconces for my powder room. Gigi also let me know that Circa (Visual Comfort) had a studio line that is less expensive. This was very nice to know. They also have great furnishing, art, lighting and decorative items in the store. A great experience. I look forward to ordering my wallpaper from them and coming back when I have further decorating needs. Thanks again for wonderful customer service😁

Owner and Principal Designer

Gigi Chapman

Gigi Chapman is a fifth-generation Charlestonian and lead interior designer in Mount Pleasant, SC, with close to three decades of experience. She has close to three decades of experience and long-term ties with vendors across the area.

Gigi leads the plan for every project and stays involved at each step, from picking fabric and finishes to the final setup. Her work covers old Charleston-area homes, new builds, and homes near the coast.

Design Assistant

Despina Filippakis

Despina has worked alongside Gigi for close to ten years, helping with projects from the first idea through the final setup. She works closely with clients on materials, sourcing, and day-to-day follow-up. She pays close attention to how furniture size, fabric, finishes, and lighting come together in a room.

Despi leads many of the firm’s in-home consultations, working with clients to understand how they use a room and what they want it to feel like. She’s especially known for her eye on accent pieces and layering, the kind of detail that turns a room from flat to finished.

Our studio sits on Johnnie Dodds Blvd in Mount Pleasant, with free parking and no downtown traffic to deal with. We welcome walk-ins as well as booked visits, so stop by any time to look at fabric and wallpaper samples in person.

Driving Directions

Our studio is at 629 Johnnie Dodds Blvd #100, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464, with free parking on site.

From Downtown Charleston: Head east across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge on Highway 17. Once you’re on the Mount Pleasant side, stay on Johnnie Dodds Blvd (Highway 17 North) and continue past Patriots Point Road. Our studio is on the right, just a few minutes past the bridge.

From Old Village: Take Coleman Blvd west toward Highway 17. Coleman Blvd runs into Johnnie Dodds Blvd, and from there it’s a short drive north to reach our studio.

From I’On: Take Rifle Range Road toward Highway 17 and head north on Johnnie Dodds Blvd. Our studio is on the left as you approach the Anna Knapp Blvd intersection.

From Carolina Park: Head south on Highway 17 (Johnnie Dodds Blvd) toward downtown Charleston. Our studio is on the right, past the Bowman Road interchange, before you reach the Ravenel Bridge.

From Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms: Take Ben Sawyer Blvd across the Ben Sawyer Bridge, then continue onto Coleman Blvd. Follow Coleman Blvd until it meets Johnnie Dodds Blvd, then head north toward our studio.

Old Village

These older homes have original floors, trim, and woodwork worth keeping. We plan furniture and finish around what is already there instead of covering it up, so the house keeps its character while everything else gets a refresh.

I'On

I’On homes mix older-style design with open, connected living spaces. We pay close attention to how rooms flow into each other here, picking furniture size and lighting that make joined spaces feel like one home instead of separate rooms.

Carolina Park

Carolina Park homes tend to be newer, with open layouts and tall ceilings. The hard part is usually filling that space so it does not feel empty or the furniture does not feel lost. Careful shopping makes the biggest difference here.
