Waylande Gregory (1905-1971) was an American creative guru, renowned for his magnificent, oversized sculptures found in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, and The Smithsonian Institution. In the 1940s and 1950s, Waylande developed an exquisite selection of decorative ceramics featuring elements from nature, paired with his iconic color glazes and metallic touches.
